EXTRA-ARQUITECTÓNICOS, arquitectos en los límites de la disciplina

EXTRA-ARQUITECTÓNICOS is a work that explores the different interdisciplinary connections between architects and other creative practices that escape the “architecturally orthodox” y and work in movie-making, music or artistic installations, among others. Always applying the processes of an architectural project that will be from now on known as EXTRA-ARQUITECTÓNICOS.
Eight architects or groups of in an age range between 30-55 years old, based in Madrid and with ties to the ETSAM.
The interviews to these architects have been recorded in two formats: the written document and video. The later giving birth to a YouTube channel with all the edited videos of around ten minutes and a full 40 minute long DOCUMENTARY that connects the different interviews and through editing, shows the different connections between the different architects, subjects of this work.
In conclusion the work wants to be an archive for future reference; explore through different media (writing, drawing and video) the relation of different architectural disciplines; finding that the architect is capable of working in various fields and relating various people under the name EXTRA-ARQUITECTÓNICOS.
